As a charity, we depend on donations to keep our service free.

Please consider taking out a regular donation — or donating whenever you download a talk. We will appreciate whatever you can give!

thanks

There are so many people to thank with this! First and foremost though, our thanks to Akasapriya who worked tirelessly for no money for a long time to help us get this site up and running. Without his efforts and immense generosity, the free service just would not have happened. A real privilege to have witnessed his expertise and capacity to learn hard computer stuff in response to our ever-changing technical demands!

Thanks too to Padmavyuha for his support and generous work for Dharmachakra through some of the darkest financial times in our history. A real rock to build something stable on.

We also received vital help with the site from Björn Haßler, whose magic wee perl scripts saved us a world of time and trouble when it came to preparing many of the files.

We're very grateful to the various trustees (past and present) of Dharmachakra, who put their faith in this project long before anyone else and have been greatly supportive at key times.

Many thanks are also due to Dassini and Jinavamsa for their contributions to indexing the talks. Detailed work but meritorious. Thanks too to Suriyavamsa for his efforts in helping organise the archive itself. And to the team at Wildmind for the use of an office and broadband connection when we had none.

We’d like to acknowledge the tremendous efforts of all those at Windhorse:Evolution Ltd., whose financial support over several years has gotten us out of various tight corners and allowed our vision of a free service to take root and flourish.

And we’d like to recognise the generosity of the FWBO European Chairs’ meeting, whose timely funding support has given us a rare kind of funding stability at a crucial point in our transformation.

Last but not least, thanks, of course, to the numerous ‘Friends of Dharmachakra’, whose regular small donations over the past few years have helped keep Dharmachakra afloat…

There are many other technical folk without whom this site would not have been built. The Open Source software community is a wonderful phenomenon, and some of the tools we've benefitted from are listed here: MySQL, CocoaMySQL, Apache, PHP and Entropy PHP, PHPMyadmin, Jedit, W3Schools and many more…
